Police Arrest 11 Suspected Cultists and Armed Robbers in Delta State Crackdown

The Delta State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Aina Adesola, has apprehended 11 individuals suspected of being involved in cult-related activities and armed robbery. The arrests were made by a special assignment team led by CP SAT, with ASP Julius Robinson playing a key role in intelligence-led operations.

Among those arrested are Richard William, Honord Piu, Sundai Jakpor, Victoria Ogbemudia, Raymond Arhiakpor, and Precious Wanogho, who were found in possession of homemade guns and live cartridges. In a separate operation in Sapele, three suspects were arrested, including Kome Temienoro, Ogaga Omogen, and Biokoro Francis, with illicit drugs and weapons recovered.

CP Adesola emphasized the ongoing efforts to eradicate cultism and violent crimes in Delta State, urging the public to provide credible information. Additionally, a 28-year-old man named Gare was arrested for allegedly killing a friend during a dispute, with the incident attributed to substance abuse and criminal behavior.
