Meet Mao Ohuabunwa, the New Factional BOT Chairman of PDP

Mao Ohuabunwa, the newly appointed factional BOT Chairman of the PDP, was born on May 24, 1957, in Port Harcourt to parents from Arochukwu, Abia State. He holds a degree in Applied Biology from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

Ohuabunwa has a political background, having contested and won seats in the House of Representatives and the Senate. He has also held leadership positions within the PDP and served on committees related to foreign affairs and defense.

In 2019, he lost his Senate seat to former Abia Governor Orji Uzor Kalu of the APC.
