Nigeria Launches 14 Youth Empowerment Programs

The Federal Government of Nigeria has introduced 14 funding and skills development initiatives to empower Nigerian youths, gaining significant attention on social media. These programs, compiled by Oladepo Caleb and Olugbenga, are designed to provide access to grants, loans, and training opportunities.

Key offerings include an interest-free student loan for tertiary education, technical vocational education training with a monthly stipend, and a digital skills training program aimed at supporting three million Nigerians. The Nigerian Youth Academy (NIYA) will provide grants to one million youth-led startups, while the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) aims to create 2.5 million jobs through entrepreneurship training.

Other initiatives include the distribution of CNG-powered tricycles, a youth boot camp in the steel industry, and a health fellowship program. The programs are currently accepting applications, and potential beneficiaries are advised to visit official government portals for eligibility requirements and deadlines.
