1,645 BOUESTI Graduates Set for Convocation Ceremony

On Tuesday, the Vice Chancellor of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology (BOUESTI), Professor Babatunde Omojola, announced that 1,645 students are set to graduate at the university's second convocation ceremony scheduled for Saturday. During a press conference held at the university campus, he revealed that 60 graduates will receive first-class honors, while 563 will earn second-class honors, 854 will receive second-class lower division, and 168 will obtain third-class honors.

These figures reflect the university's commitment to academic excellence and the quality of instruction provided. Established in 2020, BOUESTI held its first matriculation ceremony in 2021 and has seen a significant increase in enrollment, growing from a modest 2,401 students to an impressive 22,994.

Professor Omojola, who assumed office as the sixth Vice Chancellor on January 6, 2026, emphasized the university's reputation as one of the fastest-growing state universities in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa.
