18-Year-Old Stabs Varsity Student at Niger School Party

On Easter Sunday, an incident occurred at a school party organized for newly admitted students at the Federal University of Education in Kontagora, Niger State, where 18-year-old Jafar Musa fatally stabbed 25-year-old Seyi Simon. The altercation reportedly stemmed from a misunderstanding between the two individuals.

Following the stabbing, Simon was rushed to a general hospital in Kontagora, where he was confirmed dead. Jafar Musa was immediately arrested by the police, and further investigations are underway.

Wasiu Abiodun, the spokesman for the Niger State Police Command, confirmed the incident and Musa's arrest. This tragic event highlights ongoing issues of violence among youth in educational settings.
