2,000 Educators to Attend South East Conference in Awka

The Third South East Educators Conference is set to take place in Awka, Anambra State, on April 15-16, 2026, with an expected attendance of no fewer than 2,000 educators, school proprietors, policymakers, and stakeholders. The conference aims to promote collaboration, innovative strategies, and dialogue to strengthen educational institutions and improve learning outcomes across the region.

Dori Chinedu Okoro, who provided a statement regarding the event, noted that the annual gathering continues to grow in influence since its inception, evolving into the largest platform for educational stakeholders in the South East. The conference will focus on key themes such as rethinking the role of schools in a rapidly changing educational environment and developing effective systems to drive growth.

Major highlights will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and an exhibition hub for stakeholders to connect and explore collaborations aimed at improving the quality of education. Keynote speakers expected to present include former Minister of Education Obi Ezekwesili.
