APGA Candidate Congratulates Maikalangu on Election Win

Comrade Dr. Ez Onyebuchi Chukwu, the APGA candidate for the 2026 Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairmanship, congratulated Hon.

Christoph Zakka Maikalangu on his victory in the elections held on Saturday, February 21, 2026. In a statement made available on Wednesday, Chukwu, who is also the national youth leader of the APGA and chairman of the Forum of National Youth Leaders of Political Parties in Nigeria (FNYLPPN), expressed his commitment to support Maikalangu's administration.

He urged Maikalangu to govern with humility and inclusiveness, emphasizing that AMAC belongs to all, regardless of political, tribal, or religious differences. Chukwu highlighted the importance of citizen participation in democracy and stated that the election process provided valuable lessons.

He affirmed that while there were irregularities, he would not challenge Maikalangu's victory in court, instead focusing on supporting the new leadership for the common good of the community.
