CRPP Endorses Adeleke for 2026 Osun Governorship Election

The Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP) has officially adopted Ademola Adeleke, the current Governor of Osun State, as its candidate for the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026. At a press conference held in Benin City, Edo State, the coalition, led by National Chairman Dr. Samson Isibor, expressed its support based on an assessment of Adeleke's performance in office.

The CRPP stated that Adeleke has made significant contributions in key areas that resonate with the electorate, deserving a second term to build on his achievements. The coalition called on Osun State residents to participate actively in the election and ensure their votes are counted.

Additionally, the CRPP warned the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies against any form of intimidation or harassment of political party members, particularly those of the Accord party. They urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to uphold transparency and professionalism throughout the electoral process.
