Adeleke Advocates for State Policing in Osun Election

Ademola Adeleke, the Accord Party governorship candidate for the Osun State governorship election, stated that he was among the first to advocate for state policing in the Senate, asserting that its implementation would enhance security in the state. During the Arise Townhall Meeting on Tuesday, Adeleke pledged to uphold the rule of law and ensure security agencies operate legally if elected.

He highlighted his administration's infrastructure accomplishments, claiming to have reconstructed roads that had been neglected for 45 years, describing them as durable and well-executed. Adeleke rejected accusations that he would resort to vote-buying, asserting that he has been providing palliatives to residents since taking office, which he believes demonstrates his commitment to their welfare.

He accused his political opponents of exacerbating the state's economic challenges and expressed confidence in winning the upcoming election, stating, "I will not lose this election. I am confident.".
