JAMB Updates Arrival Schedule for 2026 UTME Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced an update regarding the arrival schedule for candidates participating in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The first session's arrival time has been adjusted to 7:00 AM, a change from the earlier scheduled time of 6:30 AM.

The examination for this session will commence at 8:30 AM and conclude at 10:30 AM. This adjustment aims to address concerns raised by candidates and parents regarding the challenges associated with early morning travel, including safety risks and transportation difficulties from distant locations.

JAMB clarified that candidates are not required to reprint their examination slips, as the adjustments do not affect the examination details. The UTME is scheduled to take place nationwide from April 16 to April 25, 2026, and the daily timetable will be adjusted to ensure smoother operations across all CBT centers.
