ADC Aspirant Danjuma Defects to APC in Gombe

Danjuma, known as Garkuwa Babba, a former aspirant for the Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency seat and National Chairman of the ADC House of Representatives Aspirants Forum, announced his defection to the APC on a visit to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya at the Governor’s Lodge in Abuja. He pledged to mobilize his political network and grassroots support for Governor Yahaya’s senatorial bid, the APC governorship candidate Dr. Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, and other APC candidates.

Garkuwa Babba attributed his decision to join the APC to Governor Yahaya’s performance and development record, stating that it was a deliberate choice to support continuity and stability in Gombe State. Governor Yahaya welcomed Garkuwa Babba, expressing gratitude for his decision and emphasizing the importance of unity within the APC.

He assured that the party would remain open to individuals who share the vision of a prosperous Gombe State, highlighting the value of Garkuwa Babba's experience and political reach.
