Aisha Yesufu: Voting APC Means Supporting Terrorism

Aisha Yesufu, a human rights activist and former senatorial aspirant for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), made a statement regarding the upcoming 2027 elections. She asserted that any vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a vote for terrorists to continue their activities in Nigeria.

Yesufu's remarks came in the context of rising insecurity in the country, which has seen significant increases in killings and abductions. She urged every Nigerian above 18 years old to obtain a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) and emphasized the importance of voting against the APC, linking the party to ongoing terrorism and insecurity.

Yesufu is also associated with the BringBackOurGirls Movement, which advocates for the rescue of abducted schoolgirls in Nigeria.
