APC Endorses Yusuf Buhari for 2027 House of Reps

During a high-level meeting held at the Sandamu Local Government secretariat, an APC group endorsed Yusuf Buhari for the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections. The meeting brought together electoral officials and political appointees across various federal constituencies, with the aim of addressing participation and strengthening the party's chances in the polls.

Usman Na Lado, the council chairman, described the endorsement as a collective resolution reached by stakeholders who consider Yusuf Buhari suitable due to his perceived capacity to gain acceptance among party stakeholders. The meeting also reaffirmed support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Dikko Umar Radda as the party's standard bearers for the presidential and governorship seats, respectively, in the 2027 elections.

Additionally, stakeholders backed Nasiru Yahaya Daura, the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, for a senatorial seat, signaling early preparations for the elections. Reliable sources within the party indicated that Yusuf Buhari's endorsement is a direct result of the governor's support.
