APC Endorses Yusuf Buhari for House of Reps Candidacy

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Sandamu Local Government Area of Katsina State have officially endorsed Yusuf Buhari, the son of President Muhammadu Buhari, as their preferred candidate for the House of Representatives. This decision was made during a high-level meeting held at the Sandamu Local Government Secretariat, which included elected officials and political appointees from across the federal constituency.

The endorsement aims to strengthen the party's chances in the upcoming elections. The stakeholders based their selection of Yusuf Buhari on his perceived capacity and acceptance among party members.

Additionally, the meeting reaffirmed support for President Bola Tinubu and the party's standard bearer for the governorship seat, Dikko Umar Radda, in the 2027 general elections. The stakeholders also backed Nasiru Yahaya Daura for the Katsina State House of Assembly and endorsed his candidacy for the senatorial seat, signaling early preparations for the 2027 elections.

Sources within the party indicated that Yusuf Buhari's endorsement was a direct result of the state governor's influence.
