Yusuf Buhari Declares House of Reps Bid for 2027 Elections

Yusuf Buhari, the son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing the Daura/Sandamu/Mai Adua Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections. This announcement was made on a Thursday during an event held in Daura, where he addressed party stakeholders and sought their support.

He emphasized his commitment to serving the people and expressed gratitude for their anticipated support. Yusuf Buhari assured attendees that he would not disappoint them and would dedicate himself to the constituency.

He was accompanied by notable figures, including the district head of Dumurkol, Alhaji Musa Haro, who also solicited support for him. Yusuf Buhari mentioned that he would engage with every town and village to gather support and collaborate with the current member, Hon.

Aminu Jamo, who is well-acquainted with the political landscape. Former member Fatuhu Muhammad was also present at the event.
