Yusuf Buhari Announces House of Representatives Bid

On Thursday, Yusuf Buhari, the son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing the Daura/Sandamu/Mai Adua Federal Constituency in the 2027 elections. He made this announcement while addressing party stakeholders in Daura, Katsina, where he sought their support for his candidacy under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During his speech, Yusuf expressed confidence in his ability to serve the people effectively and assured them that he would not disappoint them if elected. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and solicited support from various community leaders, including the district head, Alhaji Musa Haro.

Yusuf was accompanied by former member of the House of Representatives, Fatuhu Muhammad, and acknowledged the current representative, Aminu Jamo, highlighting the need for collective support from the community to achieve his electoral goals.
