Kwankwaso Urges Support for Tinubu's Second Term

Dr Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, the Director of Finance at the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority and a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term. He praised Tinubu's commitment to democracy, peace, and infrastructural development, particularly highlighting his role in leading the signing of a peace accord ahead of the 2027 general elections and his non-interference in the Osun State governorship election.

Kwankwaso noted that Tinubu's development initiatives, especially in the North, justified his re-election. He mentioned significant federal investments, including over 1,400 kilometers of major road projects valued at over N7.21 trillion, and various energy and healthcare projects.

Kwankwaso emphasized the importance of these initiatives in restoring security and improving agricultural access, thereby benefiting displaced communities and enhancing economic connections between Northern and Southern Nigeria.
