Kwara APC Rallies for Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Support

The Kwara chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held a rally to garner support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the upcoming 2027 general elections. The rally took place in Ilorin, the state capital, and was organized following the recent conclusion of the party's primary elections.

State Coordinator Abdulateef Alakawa addressed journalists during the event, expressing gratitude for the peaceful conduct of the primaries and the emergence of candidates across various positions. Alakawa emphasized the party's commitment to unity and dismissed concerns about potential divisions arising from the primary outcomes.

He noted that the APC has established a reconciliation committee to address any issues. Ahmad Muhammad, an APC candidate for the Kwara North senatorial district, highlighted the fair representation of the zone in the party's governorship ticket.

Olalekan Adewoy, another candidate, thanked Tinubu and Abdulrazaq for their leadership. The rally reflected the party's confidence in retaining power in Kwara State during the next elections.
