APC Governors Endorse Tinubu for Re-Election Bid

On Tuesday, during a meeting in Kebbi State, first-term governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's bid for re-election. They issued a communiqué declaring their support for Tinubu's "Renewed Hope" agenda beyond the 2027 general elections.

The governors acknowledged the economic hardships faced by Nigerians and argued that the reforms introduced by Tinubu's administration are essential for repositioning the country's economy. They recognized the sacrifices made by various sectors, including families, workers, farmers, and traders, during the economic adjustments.

The communiqué stressed the importance of continued collaboration between federal and state governments to develop policies that support economic stability and security. The governors expressed concerns over ongoing insecurity, including kidnappings and attacks on schools, and pledged to enhance collaboration with security agencies.

They urged Nigerians to remain patient with ongoing reforms and committed to prioritizing agriculture, food security, healthcare, and job creation to ensure visible results from Tinubu's administration.
