APC's Strategy with Wike Against PDP Proving Effective

In an interview on Arise Television's prime time, Professor Abiodun Adeniyi from the University of Abuja commented on the All Progressives Congress's (APC) strategy involving Nyesom Wike, the current FCT Minister. He asserted that the plan to use Wike to undermine the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is already yielding results.

Adeniyi noted that Wike's support for APC President Bola Tinubu, particularly following the PDP's national convention held at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, is contributing to the destabilization of the PDP. He emphasized that Wike does not intend to be the PDP's presidential candidate, which he believes weakens the party's position against Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
