Bauchi Governor Warns Against Electoral Malpractice

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed addressed concerns regarding electoral malpractice during the presentation of candidates by the All Peoples Movement (APM) for the 2027 general elections. He stated that his administration would resist any form of rigging and urged the Federal Government and the Independent National Electoral Commission to ensure transparency and neutrality throughout the electoral process.

Mohammed highlighted that the APM's decision to adopt its platform was based on political realities and internal disagreements within the People's Democratic Party. He praised the security agencies, particularly the Nigerian Army, for their role in improving security in Bauchi State.

Yakubu Adamu, the governorship candidate, expressed gratitude for the party leadership and pledged to consolidate the achievements of Mohammed's administration over the past seven years. Auwal Isah, the state chairman of APM, noted that the party successfully conducted its congress and expressed confidence in emerging victorious in the upcoming elections.
