Barau Unveils APC Campaign Council for Kano North

On Saturday, Senator Barau Jibrin, the Deputy President of the Senate and representative of Kano North, unveiled the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council for the upcoming 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections. The council is chaired by Engineer Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi, the Managing Director of the Hadeja Jama’are River Basin Development Authority and former Secretary to the Kano State Government.

Dr Ali Haruna Makoda, the state Commissioner for Education, serves as deputy chairman, while Surveyor Nadu Yahaya is the secretary. Other notable appointments include Farouk Lawan as Vice Chairman I and Alhaji Yusuf Tumfafi as Director-General.

Barau urged the council to engage in house-to-house mobilization to ensure the APC's message reaches every voter in the Kano North Senatorial District. He emphasized the importance of communicating the administration's achievements to constituents as a foundation for the campaign.

The council also includes various deputy secretaries and directors-general, along with chairmen for the 13 local government areas in the district.
