ADC Denies Claims of Candidate Upload to INEC Portal

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) issued a statement addressing claims made by Nafiu Bala Gomb's faction regarding the uploading of a presidential candidate's name to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal. Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC's national publicity secretary, described these claims as a "blatant lie" and emphasized that INEC does not provide access codes for the nomination portal.

Abdullahi stated that the leadership of the ADC does not recognize Gomb's faction and will not issue two codes for the party. He challenged Gomb to provide evidence of the purported upload and expressed confidence that INEC would investigate the matter if necessary.

Abdullahi further clarified that unauthorized individuals cannot upload names to the portal, as this would undermine the integrity and reputation of Nigeria's electoral process.
