Borno South APC Leaders Endorse Ndume for 2027 Elections

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Borno South have expressed unanimous support for Senator Ali Ndume's return to the Senate in the upcoming 2027 elections. They raised ₦40 million to purchase his nomination form.

The endorsement was announced during a meeting led by Adamu Yamta, who visited Borno State APC Chairman Bello Ayuba in Maiduguri. The gathering highlighted the significant turnout of stakeholders from nine local government areas in Borno South, showcasing the strong backing for Ndume.

Ayuba praised the unity and commitment of the attendees, noting the impressive quality of stakeholders present, including members of the state party executive. Governor Babagana Zulum was also commended for his inclusive leadership style.

The meeting served to formally notify party leadership of the decision to support Ndume, with contributions from various local party chairmen and youth leaders.
