Borno Youths Fundraise N38.5M for Ndume's Senate Form

In a fundraising event held in Maiduguri, Borno youths from nine local government areas raised N38.5 million to purchase a Senate nomination form for former Senate leader Ndume, who has expressed interest in running for the APC. The initiative, spearheaded by Alhaji Babandi Shehu, aims to acknowledge Ndume's contributions to the Southern Borno senatorial district and to ensure that the region has a reliable voice in the Senate.

Shehu emphasized the importance of Ndume's unwavering commitment to democracy and his ability to speak truth to power, regardless of whose interests may be affected. Junaid Jibril Maiva, Ndume's senior legislative aide, praised the youth for their selfless initiative, highlighting the need for strong representation in Nigeria's political landscape to foster development in the country.
