Borno Youths Raise ₦38.5 Million for Ali Ndume's Bid

On Saturday, a fundraising event held at Forsham Hall in Maiduguri attracted around 2,000 participants, where thousands of youths from Southern Borno raised ₦38.5 million to support Ali Ndume's 2027 senatorial bid. The event was characterized by contributions from large youth groups and community associations, reflecting a strong financial commitment to Ndume's campaign.

Babandi Shehu, the youth coordinator, emphasized that the initiative was not merely a political statement but a necessary action at a time when Nigeria requires courageous voices in governance. The event reinforced Ndume's position, highlighting his track record as a legislator dedicated to constituency development.

His senior legislative aide, Junaid Jibril Maiva, outlined Ndume's legacy, noting that he has sponsored 70 bills focused on national development and facilitated the establishment of landmark federal institutions in Southern Borno and the wider North East region.
