Ndarani Purchases APC Nomination for Niger South Seat

Mohammed Ndarani has officially purchased the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form to contest for the Niger South senatorial seat in the 2027 elections. His decision to enter the race follows persistent appeals from youth and community leaders across the Niger South senatorial district, culminating in a delegation visiting the palace of the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Dr.

Yahaya Abubakar, who urged him to accept the call. Ndarani, who holds the traditional title of Hukunchi Nupe, expressed his commitment to public service and aims to address key issues such as education and infrastructure in the region.

He has outlined a 12-point agenda focused on improving living standards, including sponsoring bills in the National Assembly to rehabilitate major federal highways and enhance educational access. Ndarani expressed confidence in the APC leadership under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umar Bago to ensure a credible primary process.

He also highlighted the need for constitutional recognition of Niger State's benefits from hydroelectric power generation.
