Oyo Deputy Speaker Fadeyi Resigns from PDP Ahead of 2027

Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi, the Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, has officially resigned from the People's Democratic Party (PDP). In a resignation letter addressed to the PDP chairman of Ward 8 in Ona Ara Local Government Area, Fadeyi expressed his decision to leave the party due to ongoing internal crises that have remained unresolved.

He urged the PDP leadership to delete his records from the party's register and website, emphasizing the need to advance his political interests as he prepares for the 2027 general elections. Fadeyi's resignation letter was made available to the Daily Post on Friday, where he acknowledged the achievements he had during his time in the PDP but indicated that the internal issues had hindered his political ambitions.
