Diri Launches APC Coordinators for 2027 Elections

On February 18, 2023, Bayelsa State Governor Senator Douye Diri inaugurated the Renew Hope Ambassador (RHA) local government coordinators for the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a meeting at the DSP Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall in Yenagoa. Governor Diri charged the coordinators with mobilizing party members at the ward and local government levels to ensure the success of the APC in the upcoming elections.

Chief Tiwei Orunimigh, the state coordinator, emphasized the need for inclusive leadership within the local government. Diri cautioned party leaders against divisive tendencies and urged them to focus on the collective goal of supporting President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid for 2027.

The meeting also included the announcement of a committee to oversee the party's ward congresses, with significant figures from the APC in attendance, including former Delta State Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and other notable party members.
