Ebira Women Association Backs Tinubu, Ododo, Bello for 2027

On September 21, 2026, the Ebira Vonya Women Association held an event in Lokoja to unveil campaign materials supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and former governor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for the upcoming 2027 elections. The event took place at the Children’s Amusement Park and attracted numerous members from Kogi Central and Lokoja.

The materials included banners, T-shirts, face caps, and posters featuring the political leaders. Hon. Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege, Kogi State Auditor-General for Local Government, unveiled the materials, praising the association for their support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Bello’s senatorial ambition.

Hajiya Rukayat Ajoge, president of the association, stated their support for Bello was intentional, highlighting his experience and potential to attract development to Kogi Central. The event included cultural performances and prayers for the political leaders, urging unity among Ebira people ahead of the elections.
