Asagba of Asaba Backs Tinubu, Oborevwori for 2027

Prof. Epiphany Azinge, the Asagba of Asaba, expressed his support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in their re-election campaigns for the 2027 elections.

This assurance was given during a courtesy visit from the FOOG Women Support Group, which is dedicated to supporting Tinubu and Oborevwori. The visit took place at the Asagba's palace in Asaba.

Prof. Azinge emphasized the importance of women in community development, stating that they often have access to areas that men do not.

He encouraged the FOOG Women Support Group to continue their empowerment initiatives for women in the Delta North Senatorial District, highlighting that Nigeria's wealth in oil and gas should eliminate poverty. Chief (Mrs) Esther Okotie-Eboh, the Director-General of the FOOG Women Support Group, mentioned that their visit aimed to seek the royal blessing for their empowerment program, which was held at the Samuel Dietake Multi-Purpose event hall.
