Ebira Vonya Women Association Backs Tinubu, Ododo, Bello

The Ebira Vonya Women Association publicly declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello ahead of the 2027 general elections during an event at the Children Amusement Park in Lokoja. The association unveiled campaign materials, including banners, T-shirts, face caps, and posters featuring the three leaders.

The event was attended by hundreds of association members from Lokoja and Kogi Central. Hon. Siyaka Yakubu Adabenege, Kogi State Auditor-General for Local Government, unveiled the materials and praised the association's leadership for their political support.

Hajiya Rukayat Ajoge, president of the association, emphasized Bello's significance as a political figure among the Ebira people and assured him of their backing for his Senate candidacy under the All Progressives Congress. The event included traditional songs, cultural dances, and prayers for the leaders, promoting unity among Ebira people as political activities intensify for the upcoming elections.
