Tinubu and Shettima's 2027 Reelection Backed by Supporters

The Friends of President Tinubu and Shettima (2027 Presidential Elections Mobilisation Movement) has endorsed the reelection bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for the 2027 elections. At a press conference on Friday, Amb. Bridget Torbua Igbauke, the group's convener and founder, emphasized the need for unity among members to effectively communicate their message to Nigerians.

She urged citizens to secure their voter cards to facilitate the reelection of Tinubu and Shettima. Igbauke acknowledged key figures supporting the movement, including Sen. George Akume, Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio, and FCT Minister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.

She praised the efforts of those who voted for Tinubu in 2023 and called for intensified efforts to combat opposition propaganda, which she described as a source of misinformation. Igbauke encouraged Nigerians to embrace the "Renewed Hope Ideology" promoted by the President, asserting that it offers opportunities for prosperity.
