CHEI-IST Backs Tinubu's 2027 Re-election Bid

The Continuous Human Empowerment Initiative, Inclusive Support for Tinubu (CHEI-IST), a non-governmental organization, has expressed its support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 general election. During a media chat in Abuja with members of the Association of On-line Editors (ACOE), the National Coordinator, Dr. Akor Goodluck Michael, emphasized that the reforms initiated by Tinubu's administration will soon begin to yield dividends for Nigerians.

He urged citizens to be patient, as some reforms require time to assess their full impact. Dr. Michael acknowledged the current economic difficulties but maintained that the administration has made notable achievements in infrastructure, workers' salaries, and security.

He likened Nigeria's economic situation to a patient with multiple fractures, suggesting that recovery takes time and should not be judged solely on immediate challenges. CHEI-IST is involved in civic engagement and various empowerment programs, advocating for better healthcare facilities and addressing the migration of professionals abroad.
