Bago Launches 2027 Campaign Mobilization in Niger State

Alhaji Abubakar Usman, the Secretary to the Niger State Government, called on newly appointed ambassadors to engage in extensive voter mobilization for the re-election of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago in the 2027 elections. This directive was issued during the ambassadors' inauguration in Suleja, led by Deputy Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba.

Usman emphasized that the political structure was created to bolster support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Bago's second-term aspirations, highlighting the administration's commitment to Niger State's development. He instructed the ambassadors to communicate the administration's achievements effectively and engage with the electorate respectfully.

Governor Bago's campaign will officially commence on September 19, 2026, and Usman urged the ambassadors to intensify their mobilization efforts ahead of this date. Hon. Ahijo Danladi Walijoh, the APC Zone B Chairman, noted the strategic importance of Suleja in the political landscape of Zone B, reinforcing the need for unity to secure victory for the APC and its candidates.
