Prominent Politicians Pick Labour Party Nomination Forms

On Wednesday, several prominent political aspirants obtained Labour Party nomination forms for various electoral positions in anticipation of the 2027 elections. Notable figures include former Information Minister Labaran Maku, who is vying for the Nasarawa North Senatorial District, Senator Ishaku Abbo for the governorship of Adamawa State, and Emmanuel Ben for the governorship of Akwa Ibom State.

Other aspirants include Adamu Bako for the House of Representatives seat in Akwanga North/Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency, Hon. Jess Jame Ayenajeh for the House of Representatives seat in Toto Federal Constituency, and Hon.

Chidieber Darlington Anyanwu for the House of Representatives seat in Ahiazu/Ezinihitt Federal Constituency, Imo State. Labaran Maku praised the transparent nature of the nomination process and expressed strong confidence in the Labour Party's chances in the upcoming elections, asserting that the party has gained significant support among Nigerians.

Senator Ishaku Abbo also commended the growing momentum of the Labour Party and praised Nenadi Usman, the national chairman, for revitalizing the party's leadership.
