INEC Confirms Adegoke as ADC Candidate for Oyo Governorship

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially displayed Form EC9, confirming Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke as the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Oyo State in the upcoming 2027 elections. This announcement was made at midnight on Saturday, alongside other candidates from various political parties, in accordance with INEC's timetable for the elections.

Adegoke's media team expressed confidence in his candidacy, stating that he emerged as the ADC's candidate after successfully participating in the party's governorship primaries, which were supervised by INEC. They urged other aspirants and their supporters to respect INEC's decision and cease any misrepresentations regarding the candidacy.

The ADC reaffirmed its commitment to providing credible leadership and good governance in Oyo State, highlighting Adegoke's qualifications as a leader capable of fulfilling the party's mandate.
