Atiku Abubakar Advocates Prosperity for Nigerian Youth

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President and presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), emphasized that Nigerian youths require a government that creates prosperity instead of one that instructs them on surviving hardship. This statement was made following a visit from a nationwide delegation of N-Power beneficiaries who expressed their support for his candidacy on Saturday.

Atiku criticized the current administration for the cost-of-living crisis, which he claims has diminished purchasing power, weakened small businesses, and increased unemployment among young Nigerians. He pledged to restore purchasing power and expand opportunities for the youth if elected in 2027, proposing a $100 billion financing program for startups and entrepreneurs.

Atiku framed the upcoming election as a choice between continued economic decline and a new path to growth, asserting that Nigeria must build an economy that creates jobs and rewards enterprise.
