NDC Alerts Public on Fake Nomination Forms in Enugu

The Nigeria Democrat Congress (NDC) issued a statement on Friday, raising an alarm over the sale of fake nomination forms in Enugu State in anticipation of the 2027 elections. The party accused John Paul Anih, who claims to be the state chairman, of impersonating unauthorized activities.

The NDC emphasized that Anih's actions are not recognized as legitimate by the party and described his conduct as a "kangaroo state congress." The party has indicated that it will approach the court to seek recognition of its authentic chairman in Enugu State. Furthermore, the NDC warned the public about the alleged sale of fake nomination forms to unsuspecting aspirants and clarified that Anih does not represent the NDC in any capacity.

The statement also mentioned that Anih has set up an unauthorized screening committee for aspirants seeking election to the Enugu State House of Assembly, which contradicts the official screening committee already constituted by the party's national leadership.
