Ex-Kogi Commissioner Yusuf Champions Youth Empowerment

Engin Ahovi Yusuf, a former Kogi Commissioner, formally declared his intention to contest for the Adavi Okehi Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 elections during an event held at the Lgea Osisi Primary School field. He addressed members of the Progress Congress APC, outlining a people-focused manifesto centered on youth development and empowerment of women.

Yusuf emphasized the need for transparency in basic infrastructure development within the constituency, aiming to give the people a stronger voice. He pledged to prioritize road infrastructure, education, and economic opportunities, asserting that youth are the backbone of the community's future.

He also committed to ensuring regular engagement with constituents and highlighted the importance of improving access to clean water, describing the revitalization of the Osara Dam as a personal priority. Yusuf expressed confidence in his ability to represent the constituency effectively in the National Assembly and promised that the voices of the constituents would always be heard.
