Ex-Kogi Commissioner Moham Yusuf Seeks Reps Seat 2027

Moham Yusuf, the immediate past commissioner for works in Kogi State, has officially declared his intent to run for the House of Representatives seat representing the Adavi Okehi federal constituency in the 2027 elections. His formal declaration took place on a Saturday at the LGEA Osisi Primary School field in Kogi State, where he addressed members of the Progress Congress.

Yusuf emphasized his commitment to delivering quality representation and attracting development projects to the constituency. He aims to strengthen the voice of the people, particularly focusing on youth empowerment and women's support.

His manifesto includes prioritizing road infrastructure, education, and economic opportunities. Yusuf also highlighted the need for improved access to clean water and pledged to revitalize the Osara Dam.

He assured constituents of transparent leadership and regular engagement. Previously, he served as a senior special assistant in the solid minerals sector and resigned from the cabinet in March to pursue his political ambitions, complying with electoral laws requiring public officials to resign before contesting for office.
