Adeleke Promises Tinubu 100% Votes from Osun State

On a visit from Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke assured President Bola Tinubu of his commitment to delivering the state's votes in the upcoming elections. He emphasized that he does not make empty promises and that integrity should guide political actions.

Adeleke referred to Tinubu as his “dear father” and stated his intention to fulfill his promise to deliver Osun State's votes “100 percent.” He attributed his commitment to values instilled by his father, a diplomat and labor union politician, who taught him the importance of honoring commitments. Adeleke also recalled his role in political negotiations that led to Godswill Akpabio becoming Senate President and Tajudeen Abbas as Speaker of the House of Representatives, where he successfully persuaded Osun lawmakers to support Tinubu's preferred candidates despite some initial opposition.

He called for unity among Osun politicians to support initiatives that would benefit the state.
