Adamu's Campaign Confident Despite INEC Omission

The campaign organization for former Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Adamu has stated that he will still be a candidate for the Nasarawa State governorship election, despite being omitted from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) list of recognized candidates. Otaru Douglas, the Director of Media and Strategic Communications for the campaign, expressed optimism that the situation would be resolved soon, emphasizing that Adamu is a registered member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Douglas dismissed concerns about opposition propaganda and asserted that the campaign remains confident in Adamu's grassroots appeal. Musa Adamu Angba, the current SDP candidate recognized by INEC, indicated he would be willing to relinquish the ticket to Adamu if necessary, highlighting their cordial relationship.

Douglas reassured supporters that there is no tension regarding Adamu's candidacy and that they expect affirmation soon.
