Fubara Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Presidential Election

Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of River State, has publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 elections. Speaking at an open meeting with the Southern Traditional Rulers Council in Port Harcourt, Fubara highlighted the importance of sustaining support for Tinubu to ensure continued reforms and stability in Nigeria.

He acknowledged the notable achievements of the current administration, particularly in economic recovery and infrastructure development, including the expansion of the coastal road project. Fubara cautioned against abrupt policy changes that could undermine these gains and urged traditional leaders across the southern region to collaborate in pursuit of shared development goals.

He emphasized that unity is crucial for sustaining peace and growth in the region. The event was attended by prominent monarchs from the southern geopolitical zones, including Ooni Ife Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, who presided over the council aimed at fostering stronger bonds among southern communities.
