Gombe Stakeholders Endorse Gwamna for 2027 Governorship

Stakeholders in Gombe State have officially endorsed Dr. Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna as the gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 elections representing the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This endorsement was announced by Ibrahim Sani Shawai, the spokesman for the stakeholders, during a high-level engagement held in Abuja, which was chaired by Dr. Aliyu Modibbo Umar, the Special Adviser to the Vice President.

The meeting brought together distinguished individuals from Gombe, including four former ministers, four retired major generals, a retired air vice marshal, several retired permanent secretaries, three retired ambassadors, and accomplished professionals. The forum adopted several strategic resolutions aimed at strengthening political cohesion, enhancing grassroots mobilization, and consolidating support for the APC.

Shawai highlighted the confidence in Gwamna's leadership capacity and vision for advancing peace and sustainable development in Gombe State. The stakeholders also resolved to intensify grassroots mobilization across local government areas and encourage voter registration and civic participation.
