Kano Group Backs Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin

The Kano State Coalition for Good Governance has publicly condemned attempts to discredit Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin. During a special press conference held in Kano on Wednesday, the coalition's chairman, Mukhar Tukur Gadanya, called on Nigerians, both within and outside Kano, to ignore these efforts aimed at thwarting Jibrin's re-election.

The coalition praised Jibrin for his representation and service to the people of Kano North, highlighting that he has contributed significantly to human development and infrastructure in the area. Gadanya characterized the discrediting efforts as the work of disgruntled elements and external forces seeking to destabilize the region.

He reaffirmed the coalition's support for Jibrin, emphasizing that no political intrigue would override the collective will of the people of Kano North to continue benefiting from his selfless service.
