Kano Group Advocates for Falgor as New Deputy Governor

The Intellectu Forum has called for the appointment of Jibril Ismail Falgor, the current Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, as the new Deputy Governor of Kano State. This request follows the resignation of former Deputy Governor Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo.

The forum presented six compelling reasons to support Falgor's candidacy, emphasizing his qualifications and experience. They highlighted his strong partnership with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, noting Falgor's integrity and zero tolerance for corruption.

The forum believes that Falgor's leadership skills and commitment to the administration's vision will ensure effective governance and swift legislative action. Additionally, they pointed out that Falgor's appointment would provide political balance in the Kano South Senatorial District, which has not held the Deputy Governor position since 1999.

The forum seeks the approval of this proposal, confident that Falgor will contribute significantly to the development agenda of Kano State.
