Adelabu Declares 2027 Governorship Bid for Oyo State

Adebayo Adelabu, a former Minister of Power, declared his intention to contest the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State on Tuesday. The announcement took place at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan, where he expressed his commitment to providing good governance and ensuring that the people of Oyo State receive the dividends of democracy.

Adelabu emphasized that the state deserves to achieve significant progress under the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He pledged to implement projects and policies aimed at improving the living conditions of the residents.

During his declaration, he expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for renewing hope in the country and acknowledged the contributions of past leaders, including former governors of Oyo State.
