DLA's Moses Adebisi Aims to Be Nigeria's Youngest President

Moses Adebisi, the 35-year-old presidential candidate for the Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA), declared his intention to become Nigeria's youngest president in the 2027 general election during an interview with Arise TV on Thursday. Adebisi, currently pursuing a PhD in Government, Political Thought, and History in the United States, stated that his decision to enter politics was influenced by public encouragement to take a more active role beyond his previous empowerment activities.

He has been known for initiatives aimed at low-income market women and young Nigerians, including a grassroots digital literacy campaign. Adebisi believes that his academic preparation and studies of economic reforms in China and the United States have equipped him to lead Nigeria effectively.

He expressed confidence in defeating the current president, Bola Tinubu, and the All Progressives Congress in the upcoming elections, asserting that the DLA has developed a discreet political structure to support his campaign.
