Imo ADC Women Leaders Unite for Party Stability

The women wing of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Imo State convened a strategic leadership meeting at the party's state secretariat in New Owerri. The meeting aimed to reaffirm unity and strengthen the party across the state, bringing together local government area women leaders and stakeholders.

Uju Ihejiagwa, the state woman leader, commended the loyalty and dedication of women leaders to the party's progress despite prevailing political challenges. She urged members not to be discouraged by defections and emphasized the importance of unity within the ADC in Imo State.

Ihezi Dede Walax, the director of Imo ADC new media, issued a statement reinforcing the commitment to maintaining party cohesion. The meeting also featured contributions from South East zonal woman leader Chioma Joi Anyanwu, who praised the resilience of Imo women leadership and encouraged the promotion of peace and unity within the party.

Key attendees included Ladi Leticia Oker, Ruth Nwokocha, Getrud Iroemeh, Chisom Domin, and Nneoma Gloria Chukwuba.
